Haven't been following at all, but heard Canada blew a 6-1 lead against austria. Lol... with likes of Tavares and PLD doesn't surprise me. Who's in net? Campbell?

What a pity that Mesar, Reinbacher, Barron, Engstrom, Hutson, Farrell, Ylonen aren't in this tourney. Finnish roster looks so thin, I wonder why Ylonen isn't in. Is he invited ? Or he opts out ?

With a lot of Habs missing this tourney, I'm much less interested.

Nice sequence by Kapanen. He beats the D to the net and gets another high quality scoring chance. Then wins the face-off, Finland loses the puck, he steps up to intercept a pass in Austria's end again, does a nice drop pass, and Finland f***s it up again. Lol

It's not a good Finnish team.

Oh, oh, bust confirmed. Kapanen ties Kakko as youngest Fin u20 to score 6 goals at WC.

That was a nice steal and shot by Kapanen, though. Cy Young award winner so far. 6g, 0a.
Was that what the broadcast said (just curious) cause Kapanen is actually 21 this year?

Binningnton was in net and was not inspiring. I personally don't like him as a goalie, particularly his temperament. I would not feel confident with him as a #1 in the Olympics or any best on best torunament.

The goaltender position is truly the biggest question mark for Team Canada. When the projected candidates are Binnington,Levi,Montembault,Hill,Skinner(lol), it doesn't inspire confidence. Definitely a far cry from Brodeur,MAF,Luongo and Price...

Hey at least Hockey Canada is putting their resources to good work - Chicago Blackhawks agree!
