The final game in the era of Jeff Rimer and the final game of a mess of a season. Also the NHL debut for Gavin Brindley.
The final game in the era of Jeff Rimer.
Watch because it's Rimer's last game. I'm waffling on going or not, and that's weighing heavily for me.While there will be many more important games on tonight, I think I'll be watching the CBJ and see how the Brindley kid does.
The momentum gained from this certain win will carryover into next season I've been assured.Canes have nothing to play for so expect some high profile players to sit out, giving us a good opportunity to win!
Honestly, Almost makes me want to bail and go to the Columbus Clippers game to enjoy the weather today. I've spent most of the afternoon working on my back patio. Both teams fielding preseasonesque rosters, one team is choosing to and the other is out of necessity
Quoting myself here to segue into a little storytime.Rims and Bobby Mac will be referring to Canes players by their numbers only.
They did this only to insure that Rimer's last game will contain a Hall of Fame number of verbal miscues.
A cruel sendoff.
