And a turnover would be COSTLY.Zucc has no business being out there in an empty net situation. He’s just standing around
Playing with Kap and Boldy should take care of that quickly.Ek with 23 goals and there is 30 games left. His best was 26 goals 2 years ago.
He has better linemates so he has room to create. Zucc wasn’t working anymore. He’s still good on the PPBut I wonder what happened to Kaprizov's scoring, now he's turned into a typical playmaker who picks up assists.
It’s stuff like this that drives people up a wall. Call out Kaprizov, whom is second in goals and first in points with 49 in 45 games, but Zucc gets a compliment for 40 in 43.That was a great game. But I wonder what happened to Kaprizov's scoring, now he's turned into a typical playmaker who picks up assists.
40 points in 43 games for Zuccarello...not bad.
Especially because Zucc would have about 25 points if he wasn’t gifted a spot with Kaprizov for vast majority of the season. He’s also bad defensively and a turnover machine. It’s stuff like this that drives people up a wall. It also doesn't make much sense because Kaprizov had 7 goals in his last 7 games prior to last night, and he's just another small hot streak off of a 40+ goal pace. It’s stuff like this that drives people up a wall. Kaprizov is 7 goals behind last season at this point, but he has more assists. And I wonder why this has changed. There was a stretch when he didn't produce much, and people thought it had to do with injuries. Could be a result of this.
Zuccarello's last two seasons are the best in his career, at age 36 he's currently 0.93 ppg, only Kap is ahead. So you can't complain about Zucc's production, and certainly not if you factor in his age and salary.
Why does Rossi have more ES points than Zucc despite getting a fraction of the ES time with 97?Kaprizov is 7 goals behind last season at this point, but he has more assists. You CAN complain about his 5v5 play, because it's not very good. He's great on the PP though.Kaprizov is 7 goals behind last season at this point, but he has more assists. His skating wasn’t where it needed to be earlier in the year. The injury from Stanley is assumed to be why.Kaprizov is 7 goals behind last season at this point, but he has more assists. Rossi was doing just fine before any mentorship from Zucc.Yeah 2nd line looks like nice place for Zuccarello, and he should also be a good mentor for Rossi. It seems like these lines are starting to click.
