Backgrounder: The new FPHL Venom team owner also owns the Hudson Valley Vipers, a senior AAA team who just won the championship in the American Premier Hockey League (a possible pipeline for "Prospects"?). The APHL was branded as the "Union Hockey League" (a shady "senior/semi-pro" organization-of-sorts) until sometime earlier in their 2023-24 season.
