no it was the contract option is why Stenhouse landed elsewhere.....at JTG Daugherty.... true story.... that's why Buescher is still at RFK NOW IN THE 17.... it's why Buescher was at FRM after RFK, THEN RFR suspended both the truck teams and the 6/60, of which Buescher won a championship.... it was a weird quirk in Buescher's contract is why Stenhouse was released to go to the 47 after being at RFR, BECAUSE the 47 crew is the same exact crew that Stenhouse had at RFR AS Mike Kelley was when Stenhouse drove the 17.... they're together at the 47..... you do realize Darrell Wallace ran for Roush Fenway as it was known then until sponsorship shuttered the 6 team....and Wallace is now at 23XI

you keep forgetting Roush no longer exists.... the team is now RFK Racing, has been since 2022..... even Roush totally doesn't own the Engines that Ford teams use, either.... that came after the dissolution of Robert Yates Racing originally Ranier Racing, because Penske foesn't allow any contracted driver to own a team that competes against them, since Brad drove the 2, hence why the 3 way switch between the 2 and 21 at the end of 2021, and why Team Penske has not run an XFINITY Race since Cindric was promoted after 2021 because Penske has saif no sponsorship and the 5 race limit on any non-development driver...... except for RSS/AM Racing and Stewart Haas Racing continue to run Fords in that series.... everything else is either TRD Or Chevrolet
Yeah, I'm well aware of all that. I'm a huge Roush fan. None of that changes that Stenhouse sucked while driving for Roush and still sucks now despite winning the Daytona.

new short track procedural rules package for NEXT Gen 2023 goes into effect this weekend at Phoenix; Cup will likely get only a 50 minute practice before Qualifications;

Atlanta will be you have what you have similar to Daytona/Talladega where there's simply only Qualifying before the race

36 entries for Phoenix weekend for Cup; as of now no decision on the 9, as who replaces Elliott; the 1st of 5 races that sees Zane Smith in the 38 and Todd Gilliland in the 15;

39 XFINITY entries so 1 car will miss the race; Notables: 02-Weatherman; 10-Busch; 19-Truex; 24-Mosack; 28-Kyle Sieg; 35-Gase; 38-Graf, Jr.; 45-Honeyman, Jr.; 53-McLaughlin; 66-Weber(1st career appearance);74-Cram; 91-Smithley; 99 BJMM entry withdrew before list released otherwise would've been 40; sounds like the 99 car has been shelved again, as Smithley moved to the 3rd DGM entry, the 91;

welcome to NASCAR Jordan Taylor...... the IMSA driver has been named the driver of the #9 Chevrolet for COTA as the replacement for the injured Chase Elliott; otherwise, Josh Berry will double most weekends in the 9; it is now expected Elliott's earliest return will be after Martinsville's weekend
