Thats what happens when everyone around you including your GM props you up and tells you to get a place in Columbus because you are an NHLer before you've fully earned it. Now he has an empty apartment in Columbus and hes watching Peeke take NHL reps. If they handled it like they should have and slowly developed him in the AHL it wouldnt have turned into such a jomrClearly Jiricek disagrees.
From hitmen. The Blue Jackets should be taking calls on Jarmo.
Which was why I had made the post in the first place. Clearly Jiricek is a guy who will be important to the franchise for some time. Once you've made promises to a guy, that appear to say you'll be with the club... well, you have to keep him happy. Do you lose Jiricek, because he's disgruntled with the franchise, and asks to be moved, or make room for him? I mean it's not like it matters much if Jiricek isn't great right now, Columbus won't be competing for a playoff spot anytime soon, so keep a building block for the franchise happy, and move out the other guy.Thats what happens when everyone around you including your GM props you up and tells you to get a place in Columbus because you are an NHLer before you've fully earned it. Leafs say yes in an absolute flashWhere do I sign up for this deal? Heck, I’d give you Peeke and a 5th for a 7th.
Im not worried about keeping them happy, im more worried about the franchise doing whats best for development. While they constantly screw that up finally sending him down is the 1st smart thing Jarmo has done in awhile.Which was why I had made the post in the first place. Lol not points wise but he definitely stands out as a playerreminder that KJ has played just twice in rogers arena throughout his career so far.. in those two games he is a -1 with no points and 2 shots on goal.
fun stuff.
Columbus could retain him down to 2.36mil for this year and next. Not a perfect defenseman but for that $ amount he would prpvide a cheap depth option that can log minutesDon't want injury prone Laine or his contract back in Winnipeg but Provorov would look good in a Jet uniform.
