I am a Chris Kelly fan and am rooting for his return.
As another poster pointed out, Hayes has been invisible. I don't believe the Bruins can afford to have someone like this on their roster. I don't know enough to say he's a "passenger," and maybe someone can enlighten me.
But, I don't see him sticking here, because he's not giving the B's anything. They aren't good enough to carry a streaky scorer who apparently doesn't use his size to full advantage.
Sweeney may be reluctant to cut him loose, as he was the fellow who brought Hayes in. And I realize JH is young.
Connolly has slotted in very well on the fourth line. It's a perfect role for him. I don't see where Hayes fits...
