I would absolutely expect that the Sabres are going to give him every opportunity to excel at center.

Yeah, Gus has been part owner of that team since 2018 along with Gaudreau and his ex-nemesis Bylsma as part of the group Northern Lights LLC.

I love him. I think he’s the second most naturally talented forward in this draft. I want high compete, intelligence, skating and skill in that order. He has great all of them. the ability to think and make plays at a high pace is the modern league….and he’s second only to Cooley in this draft for me at that. I saw an interview with him this morning where he said his longest interview was with us and he thought it went well and I really didn’t want to get my hopes up…but we got him and I couldn’t be happier.
