I’m hearing rumors that Bedard will play for Canada and Jones will play for USA at the upcoming worlds in Prague. Expect better turnouts for both with Olympics on the horizon.

Good for all three of these guys. Clearly our three best players

Expecting Kurashev for the Swiss and Mrazek for the CZE to play

Vlasic should have a chance at some solid minutes. Definitely eating up the pk time out there too. If the Canucks drop out Quinn Hughes could make team USA to join his brother and crowd that blue line up. But regardless, Vlasic has earned a spot and should do well there. Maybe Nazar joins him for the experience as an extra forward? You never know...

Doesn’t seem like anyone here is aware : Bedard played yesterday in a tune up game against Austria. Played with Bunting and McCann

I only saw about 30 mins but he wasn’t great. Didn’t stand out much all, turned over the puck a bunch and ran around defensively. A couple zone entries but deferrred a lot.

Hoping he turns it up for the real thing

Depends on the player. Bedard I'm glad to have play with some talent and compete for something. Reichel go home get a therapist and come back in August head on right and in fantastic shape.

Bedard is kinda broken right now for some reason. He needs some time at the cottage. Although now that I say that he’ll probably go 2.5 PPG in the tourney.

They’ll be plenty rested considering they no showed most of the games during the season.
They played up to their abilities. I expected nothing more from them, and I thought their effort was pretty good most of the time.

Over three weeks since Bedard will have played a game, right? That seems like enough time to rest a little, get in better mindset, and go kill it.

Really disappointed that this is the best roster Canada could come up with. Was expecting Bedard to be playing with some high end NHL players. Instead he's out there with people I never even heard of.

If you haven't heard of most of the people on the Canada roster, I'd say you're not a big hockey fan.

I'll forgive you for McBain, Greig, and Mangiapane, but the rest of the guys are pretty prominent NHL'ers or young guys on the rise like Celebrini, Fantilli, Guenther, Cozens, Mercer, Zell, Byram, Guhle, and Power.
