The whole thing about 'video review' is it is still just one dudes opinion. When video review first came to the CFL jake ireland a former lousy ref made all sorts of head scratching calls or non call.Brutal call in the Oregon-Washibgton game on a review. Ball clearly hits the ground and they ruled it a catch after a review.
I had to laugh at your final sentence, made me chuckle. Sorry for the loss. I seen they were up 29-0 too, quite the choke job, even if it was an OT loss.I had money on the Buffalos and went to bed when they were up 29-0. I said to my wife “I’m back Baby!”
Turns out I was not back…
Their criteria for inclusion is interesting. Not so much what have you done during the season, but what we expect you can do in the next game. It's like if the NHL decided at the end of the season that the points you gained during the first 82 games were irrelevant, and that the teams that are the healthiest at the end of the year will get into the playoffs....and to the absolute shock of no one, the committee professes their undying, neverending love for Alabama and votes them into the college playoff on the last weekend over an unbeaten Seminoles team, who was in the top 4 all season long. I don't care for the Seminoles but that is garbage, even if 'Bama did upset #1 Georgia (which isn't really an upset because of how good both teams are).
It's all a popularity contest and likely a financial decision. At most, Georgia should have fallen to #5, Alabama up to #6 with Florida State, Texas, Michigan and Washington rounding out the top 4.Their criteria for inclusion is interesting. I think this is one of the reasons I don't get too hardcore into NCAA football. Rather just watch whatever good matchup is on TV and call it a day....and to the absolute shock of no one, the committee professes their undying, neverending love for Alabama and votes them into the college playoff on the last weekend over an unbeaten Seminoles team, who was in the top 4 all season long. Just 39 yards of offense for Alabama in the first half. What a shame...
Just a sloppy gameNeither of these teams deserve to win the CFP.
