Only seven other first-year eligible players averaged a point-per-game rate in the USHL. None of them have Bantle’s blend of size and skill. Also, none of them did it on a team as bad as Madison. The Capitols finished the season with a record of 12-34-4 with 122 goals for. With Bantle having 49 points, that means he factored into approximately 40% of the total goals scored by the team.
Mid-season, the Capitols traded Bantle’s primary linemate, Kristof Papp, and it had minimal impact on his individual production. He continued to produce points in spite of a lack of help around him. He’s committed to play for Michigan Tech of the NCAA and projects to go as early as the second round. Whoever picks him is getting a heck of a physical specimen, with a good development track ahead of him through the NCAA.
Bantle plays a powerful style. He is willing to use his size as well as his power to dominate opponents. He gets in quickly on the forecheck and can plaster an opponent into the boards. Bantle can even cross the line, being too aggressive and getting into penalty trouble. He is strong along the boards, winning battles and getting the puck to the front of the net. His passing skills are decent, but he is not that creative. Bantle makes the short, safe pass to keep the play going. He controls the puck well below the hash-marks, working well in the cycle game.
“Carson is one of those players that is big and gritty, where he can go play in the corners, but then he hops out and surprises you with some skill as well,” Suter said in April, when Bantle announced his commitment to Michigan Tech. “To think that Bantle is only an ’02 birthyear is astounding.
“He’s got a bright future ahead of him.”
The 6-foot-5, 200-pound Bantle used toughness to help produce the strong start to his second USHL season.
You're going to summon Prim.Good guy with Taylor Pyatt eyes. Big success
"Particularly, his first few steps are incredibly slow. More than once, he should have had a breakaway but was caught by a defender because he wasn’t fast enough."
The main red flag seems to be his skating. Hopefully he can improve and can overcome that.

Well, hopefully there's a difference between a bad skater like Strome - a non-physical playmaker - and a bad skater like Bantle, who plays a heavy, aggressive game.
Several scouts say that he's "fixable" and that whoever has patience with him will have a helluva player
The chances that these kids play in the NHL is slim to none.Several scouts say that he's "fixable" and that whoever has patience with him will have a helluva player
Why are his stats scrubbed from the USHL site?
Game Center
What the f***? No evidence of Madison ever existing.
