A really good move by Chicago.

Benintendi gives them a much needed left handed bat and a guy who can get on base. That White Sox line-up is loaded with players who never walk.

I would assume this means Jimenez to DH which is good because he can't stay healthy so not playing field reduces injury risk. Or maybe he is on trade block

Sox still need RF

Fine with signing as I liked Benintendi thru years

I'm surprised that I didn't have an opinion on this signing way back in 2022 so I guess there is nothing to say to build on what was previously said....however, I will say that Benintendi has a face that reminds me of a guy I know named Ted, except that Ted is like 5'5'' and has a beer belly and is an RN.

It's so strange considering he is still in his 20's and was legitimately good like 19 months ago.
He was good, but never great, and baseball is a brutal game where one tiny slippage and you're no longer playable.
