They may very well be able to get Lindstrom at 7 so if that's the motivation this is an even worse trade than it appears

Don’t think they wait long, could be a 50 point guy next year, if plays 82, not 41.

There’s a reason he did what very few NCAA players do (no idea how many have done it), wins offensive and defensive player of the year in his conference (in the same year).

I am curious. What would stop you?? He brings it a lot of grit as a 2C. That is something that Ottawa lacks and Giroux won’t be around forever.

Pinto has a higher offensive ceiling. That, and he's younger and likely cheaper.

If Pinto weren't a 2-way guy already, I'd absolutely do it though. I do like Cirelli.

Zegras and Lindstrom flanking Stutzle could make a pretty good line.

I think I'd prefer Tkachuk and any of Sennecke, Iginla or Catton tbh.
