Knicks were up 98-89 in game 3 with under 10 to go, they scored 8 points the rest of the game.

They could have put the dagger in Indiana and didn’t, that was the series.

Pacers 0 might be the most unlikeable athlete I've seen in years. All he does is complain and shake his head no all game

Being a Knicks fan is misery 99% of the time , that 1% that is good will not last . Hopefully this fuels a healthy team next year.

It’s a very good roster, it’s still missing another star player. I just don’t think a Brunson, Randle and OG 3 are getting you all the way.

Be interesting what they do this summer, have to pay OG, him always being hurt is a worry. Have to decide on if they should go over the tax and pay Hartenstein, feel like they almost have to with how much time Robinson always misses.

It’s a letdown not getting to the ECF this year with Embiid on one leg, Jimmy Butler out and Giannis out.

I like Hartenstein a lot but some team will throw an outrageous contract at him and I hope the Knicks don't get crazy trying to resign him

Losing Robinson was such a huge blow.Nobody in the league can protect the paint like he does.Hartenstein is ok,but teams don't think twice about driving into him.If only this team was at full force....aaaah,what could have been...

If our team had been fully healthy we would have kicked the ever living shit out of Indiana. That's TWICE they got lucky with injuries; first round the Bucks had a heavily compromised Lillard and were without Giannis.

They are frauds. Holiday will put Tyrese Halitosis in jail.

Other thing the Knicks have to figure out is Randle

They won’t win with him playing meaningful minutes. I know people want to talk themselves into him being different, but he’s not.

How many times does he have to prove he’s not that guy before people realize? lol

Even if they won this series and made it to the ECF, they had 0 shot of beating Boston with the amount of injuries they had. Ever since Randle went down back in like early Feb, the injuries just kept on piling since - it's insane.

Like MH said, if they have a good offseason and have much better luck with injuries next season, they'll contend deeply.

1) Brunson is officially the guy, not Randle

2) We never saw this year's version of Randle in the playoffs, so it is not valid to say that. Randle would have made a big difference in the Pacers series, for example.

The Knicks weren't unlucky with injuries and (if they bring Thibs back) they won't do better next season. Since Thibs rookie season in 2010-11 he's been playing his top 4 players too much and grinding them down leading to injuries and playoff losses. He doesn't play the bench enough. This is well known. Thanks to him D. Rose may become the first MVP ever to not make the Hall of Fame.

If Randle played enough games to qualify the Knicks would have four players in the top thirty in minutes played. To be fair, they traded away a lot of depth to get better players. Robinson being constantly broken did not help. Bogdonovic was brough in to give minutes. Then he broke. Hartenstein was already playing way too many for. And everyone else cant defend or is a work in progress.
This is going to be a very different team next season.

If you had stopped after the first sentence, your post would have been perfect. As I demonstrated in my first post, this is a historic trend by Thibs. His top players have played too much since 2010, that's why they get hurt. Research it. There's no unlucky or accidental injuries on his teams. It's all caused by years of abuse. This is well-known. Brunson is not headed for the Basketball HoF (there is no NBA HoF) for this reason. He just had hand surgery.
