I like the article title in todays Tribune Review.
It says: WILSON EXPECTED TO GO; ABID IN LIMBO
Which would be an interesting article to read. It is susposed to be about who is and isnt offered a qualifier (specifically the players mentioned in the title of the article, Abid and Wilson).
The only problem is that in the entire article it says not one word about Ramzi Abid or his contract status. Something which I would be very interested in hearing about because I hope he is retained and feel it would be a huge mistake to NOT offer him one.
So we have his name in the article, and no article to back it up.
Classic Tribune!!!
........While this is a gaffe, and i have been a critic of KP in the past for such gaffes, I will admit that she has actually written some good articles lately. As long as this gaffe is an anomoly, and not a trend again, I'll just let it slide....
its amzing how much more info one can get (i'm not in PA) from message boards of the pens and steelers than i can of web articles from the gazette and tribune

Yeah, it does seem that the writers visit the message boards often. A few are known to. But truth be told, I'm very satisfied with the coverage the Pens get around here. Lots of cities are very envious of us.

As you should be. Pittsburgh has some of the best sports coverage I've ever seen. This isn't the only reason, but when you compare to Atlanta, you can see how competition between papers is crucial. The AJC is quite sad for a major paper. I'm sure most of you don't realize how good you have it in Pittsburgh. And at least there are plenty of hockey articles TO criticize!
Will he bring his own office supplies? Laptop and all that?
If so, you can have an AJC columnist back as a free gift. There are far too many compared to the amount of actual news, and they have the quite amusing gall to try to charge to read their stuff.
