MOOSE NOTES
- The majority of the Norfolk Admirals didn't arrive in Winnipeg on
Monday until seven hours before the opening faceoff. Six members of
the team were able to make it into the city the night before. Despite
the travel troubles, the Admirals were able to prevail over the Moose
3-1 Monday night.
- Vancouver Canucks GM Mike Gillis and VP Player Personnel & Assistant
GM Lorne Henning took in Saturday's game between the Manitoba Moose
and the Texas Stars. Henning also watched the game between the same
two teams on Friday.
- Manitoba has played the most games in the AHL this season at 19.
The teams in their division have between three (Abbotsford Heat) and
eight (Grand Rapids Griffins) games in hand on the Moose.
- Since their last regulation win on October 16th, the Manitoba Moose
have gone 3-7-2-0.
- The Moose have not scored a goal on the power play in their last 20
opportunities.
