With the news lately, I've been inspired for my playlist for this morning's spin class... I'm doing a "sick" playlist. Only songs about sickness, bad lungs, and medicine. it was so easy to come up with!

I think what they really need is one of those no games in 5 day breaks... everyone stays away from the rink and gets healthy.

Unfortunately, they'll get one of those once they start rolling.

The SP: You've become quite familiar with Pat Quinn, considering that he coached the Canadian junior team and also guides the Edmonton Oilers. Describe a memorable Quinn line.

Eberle: On an off-day (during the world junior tournament) he told us that we needed to get some sleep and stay off our Sega Genesis.
"

Pat Quinn is like a cantankerous old grandpa. :p "Get off the Sega Genesis!" :p

We have a 1-5 road record, the road is the last thing this team needs.

The Oilers need a franchise player simple as that. The only way we get that is in the draft. This yr Hall and fowler are the only franchise players in the draft.

thanks teamblue, and you're welcome. You guys are so much easier to please than my saturday morning spin class. Someone came up to me and was really upset about my music selection for the class, she actually walked out I was just trying to make light about illness a little, and i went over handwashing, and making sure you wipe down the bikes etc. Sigh, I guess it was inapropriate, but my intentions were good.

Whaaaaaat? Kind of an overreaction unless that woman personally knew someone who died or something. I read your first post and thought that I would love to take your classes. My aquacize instructor (don't laugh, yes it was me and a bunch of old ladies, but it was a good workout when you actually try!!) would use the same music every week, it got really annoying. People are too touchy sometimes, I would have laughed!

Puck Daddy - The 5 best and 5 worst NHL jerseys of the last decade. Oilers make the cut, but I especially like the Dishonorable Mention: The Nashville Predators' third jerseys and at least half of what the Vancouver Canucks wore in the last 10 years

I could see us winning only 1 game this whole month... and thats Atlanta.

It's gonna be hard to best Toronto, Minnesota and Carolina though. Those teams are really struggling to pick up points.

Actually thats sorta why I started teaching spin, i would go to classes and the people use the same music and drills all of the time. I like to mix it up and I try to play new stuff that people may not know... oh well. I love aquasize too actually. Its just me and a bunch of grey haired old ladies when I take the downtown noonhour class. The water resistance is fantastic and just like you said, you put in effort, you get great rewards.
