Mike Richards injures David Booth - NO SUSPENSION (Post #770)
[mod edit] The hit he gave on Booth just now was pathetic. Shot right to the head. Booth is currently being put on a stretcher. I never have seen anything bad from Richards before, but that was just ****ing WRONG!

This took a minute longer than i thought. He was finishing his check and Booth's head was low. Bad hit and deserves a penalty, but there's no malice intended. He's not like that.

Richards dirty hit....
Jumping shoulder to the face of Booth... Dirty hit after the whiste mid-ice.. Booth being taken off on stretcher... Suspension for sure

The first concern should be for Booth's health in this situation, hopefully we're just talking about a concussion.

I love Richards, but that was just unnecessary and dirty. A headshot in a game when you're up 3-1. Totally uncalled for.

I need to see the replay again, but Booth skated with his head down across the blue line and was looking at the pass he just sent off.

Just saw replay. Definitely a shoulder, and Richards never left his feet. I won't call it clean, though.

Watched it again, not attacking Booth but he wasn't looking where he was going and his head was low. Richards was going for the hit, but caught him badly. A suspension would be harsh....

I have no issue with him finishing his check, but NOT like that! Richards drops his shoulder right into Booth's head, and the replay CLEARLY shows that that was a busch league play.

Bad result but the hit was clean, his shoulder connected, had his elbow tucked and wasn't off his feet until the contact was made. Clean hit, bad result. Hope Booth is okay.
