The Anaheim Ducks are pleased to select another talented forward in Peter Holland

Analysis: Peter is a very skilled centerman who has nice hands and a good shot. He put up a PPG for Gueph this year and is only getting started, welcome to Anaheim.

The Washington Capitals are proud to welcome Jeremy Morin to the team

Analysis: Morin is a pure shooter and one of the best snipers in the draft. He knows his way around the net like he does the back of his hand and we look forward to his development with Kitchener in the OHL next year.

The Ottawa Senators are proud to select: Landon Ferraro

***
Welcome to the team... a very hard decision between Landon Ferraro or Drew Shore but I feel Ferraro fits the team better.

St. Louis is proud to select from the Oshawa Generals Defensemen Calvin de Haan

With not much in the line for D, Calvin fits a need and we believe will play a very important role in the future.

The Anaheim Ducks select yet another skilled forward in Toni Rajala

Analysis: Rajala is an extremely talented forward who was called the Finnish Sidney Crosby but some scouts at the start of the year. He didn't play at the level expected of him during the season but really showed his skills at the U18 where he led the tournament in scoring.

Atlanta are very happy to select Tim Erixon.

welcome D Simon Depres

Analysis:

NHL Central Scouting’s Chris Bordeleau
"I think for a potential pro player, he's got the size and mobility. I've seen him many games, and he never seems to make a bad play. He's never going to get 100 points, but definitely, when you want a guy to play defense, he's your guy. He does it all, he'll block shots and he moves the puck at the right time.”

Saint John Sea Dogs head coach Jacques Beaulieu
“Simon is a very good skater with and without the puck. He has good hands for a big man and he has outstanding vision as well as hockey sense. To make it to the next level he will need to improve his upper body strength and his shot, but overall Simon is an outstanding person on and off the ice. He loves the game. He is without a doubt an NHL prospect.”

I still can't believe this kid fell into my lap. Sure he hasnt produced offensively as much as our scouts would like however he was playing on such a low scoring team that his offensive potential outweighs his current production. Mike Green was also had 30 points in his draft year. Hopefully Depres will be half as good or even better than Green. Hopefully.

The Toronto Maple Leafs with the #39 overall pick in the entry draft, select, from the Shawinigan Cataractes, unflappable defenceman Charles-Olivier Roussel, the youngest player in this year's draft.

Montreal are extremly happy to pick a possible franchise player in Ben Hanowski.
We feel he s as everything to have a great career in the NHL. Thise kid put up 27 hat trick in 4 years (117 games) and a Total of 405 pts.

Ben Hanowski wanted 9 but couldn t have it cause we retired thise number and gave him 99. we felt thise number suited more.
