With a 4-1 lead with less than 10 seconds to go, Malkin doesn't go for the puck, but instead elbows Simmonds in the face and it goes uncalled

Well, it was an elbow. I've seen far worse in the NCAA tournament the past two days, and if basketball players can take it I think hockey players will be just fine.
