Things that make you go what the F. I know this is only Heika's opinion, and I hope it stays that way.

We'll see. I'm almost tempted to say you put together three strong lines and then sub in guys from the fourth line.

How about:

Lundqvist-Richards-Eriksson
Sutherby-Riberio-Lehtinen
Neal-Modano-Petersen

And then sub in Parrish, Barch and Brunnstrom?

Lundqvist was arguably one of the worst players on the ice last game yet he gets rewarded with a spot on a scoring line and Brunnstrom is a spare in his opinion? When the rest of the team gave up, Brunnstrom and Neal were still trying. That’s obviously something that shouldn’t happen in Dallas.

Do you know what the Stars have done to me? They sucked me back in. Just when I thought all was lost for this season, sell the vets/detritus, tank for the draft pick and try again next year they go on an unbelievable run to pull themselves square into the playoff picture. Then we get crap like Vancouver, Phoenix, and finally Chicago. If this team finishes ninth I will become violent. For the love of god will the real Stars, whatever they may be, please stand up.

Oh and Heika the idea that Dallas should bench or demote Brunnstrom for some of the spares you listed means someone should throat punch you because it is beyond stupid. Which is why I fear it might be true because that sounds like a move Tippet would make. ARGH!

Wait til the offseason if they have to, but I'm done with Tippett. Just too many slip-ups this season, and mismanagement of goaltending/special teams/defense/Brunnstrom/etc.
