Yep, he's done it again... it's only a matter of time before Conklin is the starter in Detroit. He's been great while Osgood has been a disaster all year.

Just more of Osgoods season going down the tubes eh
Edit:
But plenty of goalies have gotten scored on from CI, look at last years playoffs, happened to Ellis, and then before that Toskala got scored on from the other end of the ice, so not that disgraceful...

Tyutin shot it and it was completely unscreened, didn't take a weird bounce or anything. Just complete embarrassment on the part of Osgood. He also let in a horrible wrist shot from the blue line to Tyutin in the second period.

It hit a stick like 70 feet out, but it was still a terrible goal to give up..

He did it thrice in a playoff year and still won a cup.
Personally, I am not worried. He was solid when Detroit kept screwing up in front of him. **** happens.

I did.
My observation was that he was a beneficiary of a great defensive team in front of him, especially last year.
Osgood is nothing special.

The only real chance that the Red Wings don't repeat with another Stanley cup is between the pipes !

I have never been a huge fan of Osgood.. He is a decent goalie, but thats pretty much it, IMO.. He has been borderline terrible this season, but I dont care all that much as long as he is pick up his play come playoff time..

He's not a piece of garbage, but he's no better than the 20th best goalie in the NHL.
He gets the job done playing on that team, but the Wings would be no worse with Conklin in goal.

Because Conklin is solid.
It's not like it would be the biggest shock if Conks got a stanley cup ring.

Osgood is FAR from garbage, but at the same time has clearly benefited from his team. He's average at best. For the most part he was brutal with the Islanders and Blues, and while it wasn't really his fault, it shows that he isn't a go-to-goalie.
