I haven't been follolwing the Leafs to closely this year, not that I do any year, but I just realized how bad Toskala has been this year. Only Turco has worse numbers among starting goaltenders and Turco has been absolutely dreadful.
I'm really hoping Schneider gets in and plays lights out for a few games...He's already looking like an awesome trade chip, here's his chance to raise his value even more.
It bugs me we'll probably never see him as our full time starter. I mean, it's a good kind of bug (because we have Luongo), but still...I hope Cory gets dealt to the East when he's dealt so I can cheer for him.

I have to agree with this. Players who simply strain their groins without there being some acute or traumatic injury are often out a couple of weeks.
Seeing as though this is a goalie, who clearly suffered at best a very bad groin pull in the way he did, I can't see how this won't be at best a 6-8 week injury.
Luongo will have to be completely, 100% symptom free for at least a week before they'd even consider having him stretch out his groin again.
Look at guys like Gaborik -- You have to treat these things very carefully, and I think that means being 100% healthy for several weeks before you even consider putting him in a game situation.
There aren't many worse injuries for a goalie than a groin.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Luongo was out for 2 months. My initial guess is 4-6 weeks but as Jobu stated, they're going to want to be 100% sure before putting him back in.
I took Curtis Sanford immediately last night in my fantasy league!
I just went and looked at my league. Sanford was picked up at 4:30 afternoon (EST) yesterday. Schneider was grabbed at 11:45 this morning. People are on the ball. Too bad, I've been looking for a 3rd goalie since I dropped Harding a few weeks ago.
