Foppa and the earth's magnetic force
Not a Cannucks fan but just saw Forsberg magically fall on the ground with a Cannucks player about 4-5 feet away from him (that drew a penalty none the less). Who was that? Maybe a Jedi?
edit: amazing there's three 3 threads on the subject now haha

But seriously... If he really is diving, he needs to cut it out... It's ridiculous and it makes the Avalanche look bad.

One of the worst divers in the league.
Hopefully he didn't hurt himself doing that pretty little pirouette.
What an embarrassment..

Eventually a youtube will arrive, and you will see the force in full effect.

Flop or not, it surely got the Avs rolling. They just made it 5-2 on one weak-ass defensive series and topped off by Rypien trying to put the puck under Luongo and instead giving it right to Guite for the tap in. Goal, assist, dive=the Peter Forsberg hat trick. He's 1 goal away from one!

Awful call indeed, but to me it just looked like Forsberg lost an edge on that play.. and Pyatt just happended to have his stick near him.

I would think it has more to do with gravity than anything else...

Damn, when I saw a Foppa thread started I was hoping he pulled his groin, or broke a toe nail, or something that would keep him sidelined for 4-6 weeks

Haha, well.. I know that Forsberg has taken quite some dives in his career, im not denying that, but on that special play it looked like he just lost an edge.
