That picture of Purinton looks like it could be a mugshot for a sexual predator. I don't know if it's the mustache or what, but that's all I get out of it.
so this thread is for goons, but heres the catch: its not to talk about who is the best fighter. rather, its to talk about who is the most intimidating player (physically)
post pictures if you feel so inclined to
ill get things rolling:
scott parker, Avs
You can just tell he wants to hurt someone. It's like he plays hockey to mutilate. Not to win, but to just inflict pain.
I'm sure if hockey wasn't a sport he'd be in jail or something.

Having watched Purinton play for a long time in the Rangers organization, its in his eyes. There's just a blank void there, and you realize there's like a 20 second gap before any of his actions will register with his brain. Definitely one of the craziest to ever play (and thats not exaggerating!). He has jumped people, gouged eyes multiple times, gotten kicked out of the ECHL for trying to get into a stick swinging fight with an opposing coach during a brawl, sucker punched, kicked, ambushed people with flying cross-checks to the face and then drop the gloves and start beating them, and on and on. Crazy man!
-"He is a six-time Golden Gloves boxing champion from Canada."

-"Jeremy Yablonski fought in his first professional mixed martial arts competition on May 12 2007, at XFS (Extreme Fight Series) 5, knocking his opponent out in 19 seconds of the first round. Yablonski improved in XFS-6 on June 14 2007 by knocking his opponent out in 17 seconds of the first round."
If it was anywhere near connecting it might be a ouch. I believe your eyes are playing tricks on you sir, he missed by feet.
everyone knows he missed, that would have been the longest suspension ever. and the fact that the goalie would have been injured pretty bad. ohh crap, its a little late but
