I'd do the Blades but its too embarrasing :p

Have a few decent players like Setoguchi, Mike Green and Corey Sarich but trails off pretty quickly.

Booo... I spent a half hour putting together a Thunderbirds roster when I saw your post

Great job, I'd only ask you to consider Riku Helenius who's going to be a franchise goalie for the Lighting and who's currently tearing it up in Seattle right now

I had to use some non-NHL'ers for them, because they don't have many NHL alumni

Brampton Battalion

Wolski-Spezza-McClemment
Torres-Hodgson-Kreps
Emmerton-T. Stajan-Hughes
Oulahan-Aquino-Lynes

Burns-Klesla
Harrison-Sanguinetti
Hanchuck-Oreskovic

Machesney
Finley

Some great players there...but after that...they suck

Sudbury Wolves

Derek Armstrong - Mike Fisher - Glen Murray
Benoit Pouliot - Mike Peca - Taylor Pyatt
Chris Kelly - Ethan Moreau - Nick Foligno
Josh Gratton - Brian Mcgratton - Zach Stortini

Jay Mckee - Dennis Wideman
Paul Mara - Marc Staal
Sean O'Donnell - Steve Staois

Ex. Alex Semenov

Mike Smith
Andrew Raycroft

Ex. Steve Valiquette

Coach: Randy Carlyle

Wow, when I started making this list I certainly did not expect this. This team has almost no offensive talent except for Glen Murray. But the team is absolutley chock full of character two way guys with grit and heart. Plus the defense is extremely solid. Goaltending is also good with Mike Smith and a decent back-up in Raycroft. This team overall is very tough and that mirros Carlyle's coaching style as well. This team would actually beat a few NHL teams.

moncton wildcats could ice a pretty decent defence with active players:

francois beauchemin
dmitri kalinin
johnny oduya
keith yandle
luc bourdon
oskars bartulis (flyers prospect)

a couple of former NHLers also in jonathan girard & alexei tezikov.

in goal corey crawford & former pen & leaf js aubin. former hab & devil jf damphousse is retired now so he's out of the question.

forwards are pretty thin:

steve bernier
patrick thoresen

after that there's alot of current prospects:

brad marchand (bruins)
martin karsums (bruins)
adam pineault (jackets)
matt marquardt (jackets)
phil dupuis (jackets)
chris gaudet (isles)
bruce graham (rangers)
pa parenteau (if he's stll considered a prospect - rangers)

and some former NHLers:

dmitry afanasenkov (lightning)
evgeni artyukhin (lightning)
pierre dagenais (habs)

that should be able to make a team. break out the trap!

Thats all I could muster up to join the team. Apparently they dont manufacture defensemen in Oshawa, or goalies in the last 15 years.

But who wants to face that forechecking?
I hear Bobby Orr was a pretty good defenceman.
