Fretter was a frequent scratch for the Wolves. A victim of too many players, not enough spots. I honestly have no idea what he is capable of at an AHL level.
He was quite a scorer last year in the ECHL with the Gwinnett Gladiators. He set a Glads team record with 36 goals. He won the ECHL Rookie of the Year award despite being injured for 21 games. He was selected by the Thrashers in round 8 (#230 overall) in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, but he was never signed by Atlanta. He played NCAA hockey for MSU for four years.
