He hasn't been part of any NHL shootouts yet, I don't think.. so probably not.
And you have to have a small amount of finishing ability to be good in the shootout, and sadly Jan has none.

It's kinda sad what happened to him. He wasn't a stud but he was a very good player for the Rangers. 19 goals one year and then 28 (yes, 28) the next year. Then the Rangers sent him to Philly in the Lindros trade and he basically has sucked it up ever since. Still, he has 9 goals. He isn't TOTALLY worthless.

believe it or not, he's actually looking pretty good for the preds so far. he's got good chemistry with erat and legwand, and has, I believe, 4 points in 3 games so far. Not bad for a seventh round pick.
