I am pretty sure we are on the road.

You should retitle it

That all sucks, we know, but I think it is over for Avs and Canucks fans...
Steve Moore was NOT a 4th Line/Minor League player...he was getting 3rd line minutes and starting to produce at that role...I even believe that the Denver Post or Rocky Mountain News had written an article where they had said that the coaches had told him to "find an apartment" because it was all but certain he was sticking with the main club.

Now, for how long he stuck? Another story all-together.

I know you don't represent the entire 'Nuck base, and I happen to know that you're an intelligent and highly informative poster...but you do need to realize that Moore wasn't just some scrub call-up.

**** yes, we still hold a grudge!

Can't stand him, ever will. Bertuzzi don't deserve to be in the NHL and Theo's contract is a steal compared to his.

Nice of our 'Nucker to read the schedule. The game is on the road, in the Honda Center.

Not just Bertuzzi - they've got May, too. Heh.

Here's hoping Hiller gets the start. Giggy played last night (got a shutout), but he's capable of playing back-to-back games (and often does).

If him being on a different team should change things, than why did you feel the need to respond to the question for a game against Anaheim?

What Bertuzzi did was very serious and things like that shouldnt be in our game .
For that we should always remember what he did and always let him know in a way .
That said i wouldnt go and say that we should start a riot each time that he's in Denver.

I'm in favor for Bertuzzi suck and the Booo's when he's on the ice , but that's about it . At one point we will have to get over it .

I still hate him and will never like him , but time change.

classless. for weeks the VAN team had a hit out on moore.

tuzzi can blame it on crawford all he wants, but crawford didn't have the money pool in the lockerroom to go to the guy who took him out.

whats even sicker is all the f'in homers in VAN that always say the above "he was a 4th liner...wa wa"

hey you low life pieces of crap, he was a human being who had his life changed forever and will never be the same. i hope each of you that posts such moronic insensitive crap has trouble getting out of bed later in life and know what its like to feel dizzy and pain in ever step.

too harsh? will i get a warning or a ban for this post? who cares. these idiots deserve to be spoke to like this for their blindness.

IMO bertuzzi should not be in the league, crawford should not be in the league, may should not be in the league and you might as well throw out burke too who did nothing to prevent it and brought his boy tuzzi into ANH. what a joke. i'm glad ANH got their cup, because no team with bertuzzi on it will ever win one. he is a worthless punk.

chris simon might be a repeat offender, and deserving of a ban. but tuzzi is even worse.

i'll get over it as soon as moore can live his life like he did before bertuzzi's criminal assult. thats right criminal!

each of you peeps that think moore is a baby and that fans need to move on, i'd love to see what you thought if some guy broke your brother or father's neck and got off like tuzzi. who continues to make millions even though he is a worthless player.

Keep the trolling and flaming out of this thread. I realize that the Bertuzzi situation is still an emotional topic, especially around these parts, but this thread is about tonight's game.

I thought he lost a game in a shootout, either last year or the year before. I remember the Avs being up by 3 or so, then Anaheim coming back and winning in the SO. I could be wrong

There are plenty of reasons to hate the Ducks apart from Bertuzzi, May, and Burke. IMO they're despicable for having Pronger alone.

Had the one and only chance at seeing Scotty Nieds play last year, never had a real appreciation for his game until I saw him play at the Pepsi Center (Avs won that game BTW). The guy really is amazing, seemingly in the right place at the right time every time, played his position impeccably at both ends of the ice, and even after jumping into the play never got caught up. He'll certainly be a big boost to a team that desperately needs it.

No Leo on account of a cut thigh!? Unreal...

Anyway, the Ducks are going to hit hard, Avs need to make the most out of their chances and hit back, it's good to see the Avs finally have a line (Guite-Lappy-McCormick) that can do just that. I would just love to see one of those guys flatten May, not like Brad'll do something to hurt his shoulder, like, y'know, FIGHT or something...

Crapola.....I just checked my CI schedule and the only game on it right now is Sabres v. Islanders.....

Oh well....maybe it'll get updated between now and then....Either way, GO AVS!

[edit...I thought the NHL Network in the US was supposed to make games more available...not less available to fans. WTH over?]

Avs were 3-1 against Anaheim last year. The only loss was 5-3 in the last game of the series. I believe the Avs won a shootout game against them.

On a quick note regarding Bertuzzi:
On 20-Jun-93 Quebec traded Ron Hextall to the New York Islanders with Québec's 1st choice (Todd Bertuzzi) in the 1993 Entry Draft for Mark Fitzpatrick and Islanders' 1st choice (Adam Deadmarsh) in the 1993 Entry Draft. Weird how things turn out, eh?

wow, i didn't know that one

I saw Anaheim play last night and Giguere was pretty damn solid. I'm hoping the Ducks team is a little tired from that game cuz it got pretty chippy too. I just hope Wolski, Svatos and Brunette can do some damage because Pahlsson's line was damn effective against SJ's top line

Nice...I never saw that before. Bertuzzi v. Deader. Deader wins every day. He was as good a power-forward as Bert in his prime plus he had class at all times. Man, I miss the guy. I know he had to retire a few years ago because of concussion symptoms. Can't remember where exactly it all started though...wasn't it a fight against Jovo? Anyways, I hope Adam's doing well in his post-hockey life. Anyone hear anything on him lately? It would be cool to see what he is up to.

Yeah, I hear ya on that. But I've got confidence in our shut-down line of Lappy-Guite-McCormick as well. I'm thinking and hoping we will see continued production out of Hlinka as well as Cumiskey finally getting on the score-sheet for a goal.

Yeah Deader was a heart and soul guy. I was p.o.'d to see him go in the Blake trade. Even as a King he was a Red Wing KILLA. I do believe it all started with the Jovo fights. True stand up guy and consumate teammate!

I have the same thing with my CI package. Looks like it is being aired on NHL.net if you have that channel.

There have been a handful of games that normally would have been on CI that are now on NHL Network, which is all well and good IF your cable provider has added the NHL Network. Mine has not so I guess I will be watching or listening online. Which sucks...
