Historically 1st home game off of a western trip is do to be a stinker. Despite the 7-1 win againt San Jose, I think with this struggling team, that will be the case again.

Going on recent trends the Sabres either get dominated or dominate the other team. They are due for a drubbing following that pattern.

This one should be closer than what we've seen on the West Coast. I'd say 3-2 or 4-3, somewhere in that range. I'll say Buffalo takes it, but it's pretty much up in the air.

Sabres keep the heat on. Boston's only skilled NHL level goalies are Thomas and Fernandez, both hurt.

If it's Rask, 4-2 'Bres.
