Tiebreakers - From NHL.com
1. The fewer number of games played (i.e., superior points percentage).
2. The greater number of games won.
3. The greater number of points earned in games between the tied clubs. If two clubs are tied, and have not played an equal number of home games against each other, points earned in the first game played in the city that had the extra game shall not be included. If more than two clubs are tied, the higher percentage of available points earned in games among those clubs, and not including any "odd" games, shall be used to determine the standing.
4. The greater differential between goals for and against for the entire regular season.

ewww, Grossman is no longer on IR, he was activated and assigned to Iowa yesterday

*slaps Lobo*

Interesting note from TSN:
Quote:
The Flames, who haven't won in Dallas since a 4-3 victory on December 14, 2001, are 3-12-5 over the previous 20 encounters at the Stars.

This got a chuckle out of me, had it been done by say Edmonton or Vancouver maybe not so much.

Quote:
Normally, you could simply chalk up the billboards in Dallas as a great way to market the Stars to hometown fans.

The team's entertaining but controversial slogan hyping up tonight's game, however, has a sting of truth to it so far.

Posted around the city this week are the words, 'Flames. The F is silent.'

And yes, Calgary has often looked lame over its first three games.
http://slam.canoe.ca/Slam/Hockey/NHL...70829-sun.html

Good Luck tonight, though the odds are you probably will not need it.

I hope everyone in Dallas can see how good Juicy is getting at creating plays... He and Jere did all the work Mo finished it. Jussi just seems so settled with the puck now.

Ahaha. Morrow- CALGARY WUVS YOU

Oh man, that win felt good. Everythings starting to come together. Iggy scored, Kipper was great, Lombo, even with the wrist problems, managed two goal one of them of a big shot.

Better luck tomorrow with the Hawks.

For us, it's on to Nashville. YEAH BABY!

Lombardi was pretty impressive.

Our D kinda sucked most of the night... Turco bailed them out pretty well. Don't know why Niskanen didn't play more, he was the only guy not screwing up.

I was at that game and I have to say that Kipprusoff freakin robbed us multiple times. Also, I don't know how many times that puck slid parallel to the goal line behind kipper and then went wide. I swear he had some type of puck repellant to keep that thing from sliding over the line, haha.

We gave Calgary their first win of the season, they didn't earn it. We just couldn't convert on all our chances...
