Brad Schell invited to Philly camp
Just talked to Jeff Pyle, coach of the Gladiators. He said that Brad Schell has been invited to Philly's rookie camp and main camp and hopes to catch on there.
After nothing coming through for a long time, Schell had fired his agent and then called Pyle to see what he could do via his contacts. Through a buddy of Pyle's, he got an offer to play in the DEL for good money. Providence then also became interested, but Schell decided to go with the Philly opportunity.
Philly's prospect pool is shallow, so he has a good chance at sticking in the AHL I think.
