For the record, I'd like to see a summarized list of the specs you claim will be a part of the new unis. I want to see exactly what these guys are betting against.
I was skeptical at first, but given all the clues and the recently leaked hats, I think you're going to be right on the money.
Vancouver will be going with a very traditional look.
No vertical stripes whatsoever on the uniforms, save for the stripes on side of the pants.
There will be a green stripe on the sleeves, torso, pants and socks, with blue and white stripes on the white uniforms and white stripes on the blue uniforms.
The 'C' in the crest logo of the Orca will be white on the blue uniforms and blue on the white uniforms.
The collar will be blue and white.
Updated stick/rink logo on the shoulders of both uniforms.
Well, I suppose the terms of the bet would have to be stated pretty clearly. For example, if all of the points you talk about show up on the actual jersey, save for say, horizontal stripes on the bottom of the jersey, who wins the bet?
From the sounds of it though, you're pretty confident that the final product will be exactly as you've seen it, so I suppose you're willing to wager an exact likeness?
You got it. If I'm wrong on anything, I lose. There will be no vertical stripes on the actual jersey, just horizontals. If there is a vertical stripe, then I'm wrong and I get a Cloutier avatar.
There were some who thought there will be green in the main crest logo, and I've stated the logo will not have green. It will be a dark blue and white with silver trim. The patches with the stick/rink logo will have green in them though.
I posted the Nucks fonts on these forums. Can't really do more than that for the Canucks because it will show off pretty much everything on the uniforms. I'll save that for their unveiling which is days away.

And to Ziggy's credit, mock ups depicting the same features he's mentioned have already been made by other people except for the updated vintage shoulder patches.

Single colored fonts for letters and numbers.
I still maintain you might want an independent third-party to decide whether it fits the description or not, or to what extent every last detail must be 100% as you described it. (e.g. If there are two green stripes on the sock -- as in the Xbox picture -- who wins?)
i have been quietly listening to everything ziggy has said. In all fairness he has been very consistant with everything he has seen....and i think he will be correct.....but maybe he has noclue and is just pulling our leg!! hah
assuming he's right......they are going to be very ugly unis
verticle stripes up the side would totally fix it though

On a related note, I don't see why everyone hates the idea of the Vancouver text over the whale. Personally I like the idea and I think it will look great.
