The San Jose Sharks announced today that the club has added former Sharks players Mike Ricci and Bryan Marchment to the San Jose hockey department staff.
Ricci will serve as Advisor to Hockey Operations while Marchment has been named Scout and Player Development.
Mush & Reech, back workin' in Teal Town - frickin' awesome
Now we just need to get Harv to join the broadcast staff
Gotta love this news, Ricci comming back to the team in any capasity is the best thing I've heard in some time. Marchment is mere gravy right now. I hope he hosts Shark Byte, that would be awsome

I can see practices now:
Hunter: you can't skate!
Marchment: why don't you show me how to skate and i'll knee your @$$!
Ricci: stop it, let me cycle the puck.
"Ricci, in his new role, will serve as a consultant to the club's hockey operations department and assist in player development. He will also serve various roles within the organization, including marketing, promotions and community relations."
He's SJ Sharkie!
Wilson's next major signing:
Damphousse (need to show players how to hook)
Too bad we can't transplant their heart and never-say-die attitude to some of the current players. They have more grit in the staff than they do on the ice.
Reeeecchh!! Great to have my favorite player back on the Sharks. Having these two team-spirited guys will make our organization better, which filters down to the players on the ice. Maybe there can be a segment on SharkByte featuring Ricci?
Wilson said he decided to bring Ricci back because of his “no BS” factor, how he always dealt with teammates and the respect all opponents had for him.

Amen to that.
I guess he's going to be a motivational speaker....

he may not be in a jersey anymore but hopefully he'll be that spark the team so badly needs
“My only personal goals are to repay the Sharks organization and the Bay Area,” said Ricci. “San Jose has a big place in my heart. When I was traded to San Jose, my buddies said I wasn’t much of a California boy, but it’s now known as a hockey town and there is so much hunting and fishing. We want to raise our kids here.”
