Hello, I have decided to take my time to create an NHL Playoff Tree, it looks very similar to a tree I found here for 2006 (I think capn89 came up with the original design, so if it was him credit goes to him for the original idea for how this looks). I did not find one this year, so I decided to make one that looks the same, but put all my work into it so as to have it for others to view. I will update it as the rounds go on. If anyone has any ideas for a background I would be glad to try them (If I find they are worth the effort).
They don't match as East right and West left, because look on the NHL Playoffs logo, East is on the left and West is on the right. Ask the person who designed that logo .
Okay well I have now added a daily tree that will change as a team wins a game, I will be keeping track of this and updating it as teams win. For that tree I will just update the link as I update the image, while other pictures will be updated above as the teams advance to the next round. Again I thought I would do this to share with others, I do it for myself and thought one day “Hey, why not sign up to some sight and share this with others?”. So I did and here it is, enjoy.

I would do more, but I don't see any thanks, and I don't think anyone really cares, but for those that do, these will have to do. If anyone wants me to do one for their team, I will gladly do so. (And I might be a Canucks fan, but that doesn't mean I don't respect other fans)
well heres a thank you from me Davis.
I really appreciate it because for some reason its hard to come by a real playoff tree.
i like the design and will keep on checking this thread for updates.
I was sure the Thrashers were going to win in the first round, I bet my money on them (not literally but in my round picks). Ah well, what can you do I was still 6 and 2, not bad for a rookie picker. The only two I picked wrong were Calgary (mumbles) and the Thrashers.
I edited the Ottawa version to make it look better so as to match it with the other two new versions of the trees. Now instead of having plain gradient backgrounds, the team specific trees will have a background more interesting. Any ideas would be nice for other teams, if you have a cool background and you want me to use it, feel free to share.

New updates, round three's all added, and daily tree updated as well. I know that Vancouver and New Jersey are out, but I will still continue the trees for the fans of them who are still interested in the Playoffs.
Go Ottawa! I just saw some new feature on NHL.com and its sweet, it's a real time score board! It seems to work pretty well, and it even has some of the shots that are taken on net posted on it and who took them, and when someone scores it shows who and when. Pretty cool I have been waiting for a feature like that!

Is this a desktop background or something else? Can you provide the link?
also, did you give credit to ineb? or are you the original creator of this?
Wait, credit to ineb? I don't know who that is but when I found this last year the person who made the old was was capn89, and I credited him for the idea, though the work in this one is mine.
And new feature is on the scores page of NHL.com, but I checked now and it is gone. I think it only shows up when the game is on, and it will be in the little box to the left, and the top left of that box (or so it was today when I saw it)
Who would have thought Sens would go 3-0 for the first 3? I didn't. That said I had a feeling they were going to win the series, but to go 3-0 and now have one more home game to sweep? That just blows my mind, go Sens go!
