Johnson - Solid!!! Bonk - Solid!!!! Move up Latendresse...

Anyone who says that we aren't an improved team after seeing how much awareness Mike Johnson adds to our team is nuts. What a solid pick up by Gainey!

Bonk is playing terrif hockey!!! A couple of missed opportunities on the offesive side of things, but I like what I've seen from him thus far.

I think that Latendresse should be playing on the third line and the Perezhogan should be droppped down to the fourth. He (Lats) played with Bonk and Johnson for one or two shifts last night and they created a couple of scoring opportunities. I also think that Lats would be better off playing with guys who have a little more talent.

GO HABS GO!!!

Lats did play a good shift with Bonk and Johnson, but Perez is playing as well or better than we've ever seen him...No reason to demote the guy.

I would still trade Bonk for a bag of pucks. The play where he just handed the puck to Philly's defenceman instead of pushing it in the corner was brutal.

On the bright side, his value is probably at it's highest.

I fail to see why Johnson's and Bonk's play means Latendresse should get better ice time? Higgins is playing well so let's put Lats on the 1st line. You're not making sense.

I'd say Perez has more chances of moving up than moving down right now...

Perezhogin has been one of the best habs on the ice night after night. The guy has been working his *** off, demoting him would be the worst thing to do at this time.

Perezhogin might be playing well be we need results. I say give him two more games. If he doesn't start putting a few points on the board move Latendresse up.

Heres a better idea:

Higgins-Koivu-Ryder
Samsonov-Plekanec-Kovalev
Perezhogin-Johnson-Latendresse
Murray-Bonk-Bégin

Or, if you want some variety on the 2nd line:

Higgins-Koivu-Ryder
Latendresse-Plekanec-Kovalev
Samsonov-Johnson-Perezhogin
Murray-Bonk-Bégin

(yes, I know, I know, this does imply putting samsonov on the 3rd line even before he starts showing us something that might be useful on a 2nd line)

Latendresse has zero points. So let's give 2 more games to him too?

Wait... why is Perezhogin getting demoted? This is just ****ing dumb.

PS- Results? A play by Perezhogin got us to overtime against the Leafs.

And seeing as Carbo was using him on the PP last night, I'd say he's not getting demoted soon.

Wasn't there a delayed offside on that play?

Latendresse played with Begin and Downey last night you do realize that, right?

I like this suggestion. IMHO Perez has been playing well, but just not getting the breaks. He certainly has the ability to had out a solid check and doesn't appear to be afraid to do it! Others could/should follow his example.

No. I was certain there was a stoppage of play and the Philly player seemed as surprised as I was that he just got the puck on his stick without effort.

I even watched Canadiens express to be sure it was as awful as I remember. It was.

I'll admit Bonk is playing well but things like these make me question his decisions and dedication. Ribeiro was playing good too but never gave that extra effort that can make a difference in a game.

Riiiight... so based on 1 good shift, Latendresse should get moved up.

And based on 3 solid games Perezhogin should get moved down.

Sounds good.

As opposed to the offensive dynamo that is Radek Bonk. I bet Downey had more points than Bonk last year.

Your telling me if your goal is to get as many points as possible out of Latendresse you play him with Begin and Downey/Murray rather then Bonk and Johnson? Ok there buddy.

I understand what your saying but I just think putting Lats in Perez spot would really give us a spark on that third line.

Since when is the goal to get as many points out of him?

I was under the impression that winning games was the most important thing.

If Perezhogin on the 3rd line gives us a better chance to win than Latendresse des, why would the latter up get moved up? Furthermore, other than 1 or 2 shifts, what has Latendresse done to deserve being moved up.

were winning, no need to change are line up just yet. I dont get why you guys want to change the lines so much. If Im not mistaken alot of you were upset at julien because he kept chanching his lines so much and was not consistant with his line ups. At least that was my major problem with him. Now every one wants carbo to make changes when really we dont need it because were winning. If we loose are next 3 than you mix things up.

Yes that is the point... All I'm saying is that I think Latendresse would make more of his opportunity on that line then Perezhogin has. The goal is to win and I think our team is better with Latendresse on a line with Bonk and Johnson then it is with Perezhogin on it.

I'm telling you that is not my goal of Carbo's goal. The name of the game is here is : winning. That's all I care about. Right now Perez is helping us win games and not Lats.

Oh and haha I have a Perezhogin avatar . I'm rooting for the guy trust me... I just think eventually someone else deserves a chance in his spot if he can't starting scoring some goals for us.

Perezhogin might be well off playing with talented players too. And he hasn't given us a reason to demote him as of yet. We have have the board saying "Throw Latendresse back to Junior" and the other half saying "Put him on the top line". How about we see how he plays where he is first.
