I try, but it never works out very well, I'm just as entiltled as you to make of former players. He should do better than Kariya did last year in Anaheim.

You're the one for me.
I'm just joking. Have you ever heard the "Rubber Ducky" song by Ernie and Bert.

With all the dollar signs in his eyes, I expect we may actually see him utilize his talent. He has Art Ross ability, just needs the right motivator.

He's been one of the best forwards the first two games. After Neidermayer he's probably the best forward so far. I wonder if he's starting to re-think his decision to come here.

as far as i can see Kariya is doing well with the Avs already off to a good start..
2 Goals
2 Assists
4 Points
2 Games..
Also, someone was telling me that Kariya signed for so little with the Av's because he didn't want to sign a 3 year contract after the new CBA comes out.. Anyone know about this? Also he said, that Kariya is looking to come back to Anaheim after this year. He has season tickets to the Ducks for the past 6 years...

Kariya got cross-checked to the ice after he scored. By Pronger. ESPN2 cut away during the replay when a melee ensued. (Selanne got x-checked to the ice at the same time by Jackman.) Did anyone see what came out of the melee?

I saw Rob Blake going after Pronger as soon as Blake saw Kariya get crosschecked...but after that I don't know what happened.
I was happy to see both Selanne and Kariya taken down hard after they scored. You know what resulted in it? Both of them wern't on their game after that hit. That's the only way you can win against the Avs. You have to physicaly punish them.
Yeah I agree they are definetly a soft team...I hope whoever matches up against them in the first round of the playoffs is smart enough to play extremely physical and dirty against them.

Well if you don't like a physical sport stop watching hockey...go watch baseball...
Personally i think to win you have to push the other teams superstars around, and those that have the balls to push back are the stars I would want on my team...thats why players like Joe Thornton are so great.
