Question about Giguere.
I picked JS Giguere in my 1-year yahoo league.

Do you guys think he'll have the same year he had last season? better? or worse? and how has he looked in the preseason games so far?

Why do kings fans even bother reading/posting on the Ducks board? Probably because they're jealous. If Luc is all they've got to cheer for, they're in for a LONG season.

As for Giguere, I think you can expect similar numbers. His GAA actually went up last year from the previous year; however, he won a lot more games last year. The Ducks will continue to play a solid team defense and have the same corp of defensemen back--with the exception of Carney being out for the first several weeks. But with the signing of Simpson, we have more depth on D than we have ever had.

He'll probably do about the same as last year, but keep in mind he's shown a tendency to start seasons a little slowly. He didn't even win a job out of camp three years ago, was hurt two years ago and didn't get rolling until a month after he returned, and gave up some bad angle goals early in the year last season. Yet in each of those years he ended up with great numbers by the end.

He seems to have had an average preseason. If he doesn't play great out of the gate I wouldn't panic though.
