No doubt of Burns: ex-chief
Quebec police would be surprised by any biker ties

TORONTO -- Pat Burns will always be on the right side of the law, said former Gatineau cops on the force during the New Jersey Devils coach's days of breaking up bar brawls and working undercover.
"Pat did a good job and I have got no doubt about anything he did," said former Quebec police chief Joel Cheruet about any possible connections the ex-police officer may have to the Hells Angels.
PERSONAL PHONE NUMBERS
Yesterday, a Sun Media story revealed that, among evidence presented at the recent murder trial of 12 Hells Angels, police found Burns' personal phone numbers, including his home, pager and chalet numbers, in the homes of two prominent bikers.

Cheruet said Burns did go undercover in his 17-year stint as a cop, sometimes using his Harley on the job to get information from bikers.
