Oveckin's comments: Russia better than Canada

What do you think of Oveckin's comments:

"(We) remember Halifax when all the people said Canada would win the championship," he said. "But we won and we proved to all the people that Russia is better"

I can't get over the nerve of this guy. Yes is great, yes he is the best player in this tourney, but to put down another country is downright rude. Especially when it comes to hockey and Canada. Thats like saying somebody is better than US at basketball (which was bogus until this year) and we know US has the best basketball players in the world.

I think someone's gonna try and run him in the 3rd if its not close.
