Alexander Radulov

I was wondering,

This guy is an incredible player, but returned home to play in the KHL several years ago, and tried to develop hockey in Russia.. bla bla.

Is there any chances that this guy comes back in the NHL or he is most likely to fullfill his career in the KHL, like Morozov.. ?

I would say hockey in Russia is quite well developed already.

I think he'll come back one day. If it is ever going to happen it will happen in the next two years though.

I think he prefers to be a big fish in a little pond.

We'll get a chance to see how much he's improved since he left come the Olympics.

The guy loved to play for the Remparts... He's easily one of the most intense players I've ever seen playing in the juniors. He was a superstar here. The remparts even retired his jersey. And the guy dreamed of playing in the NHL.

Then, after playing a couple seasons with the Predators, he decided to leave to play in Russia. Personnally, I believe there's a possiblity he comes back in the NHL... but not with the Predators.

Because I'm pretty sure if we would have a team here in Quebec, there's no doubt in my mind he would come back to play here.

He had 12 million reasons to leave Nashville. It had nothing to do with where he was playing. He is still under contract with the Predators for one more year plus the NHL has said it will extend his RFA period. He signed an entry level contract here and broke it by signing in Russia. He wants a new contract here for the same money as Russia. He's not worth that much AO and Crosby don't even make as much as him.

As far as I remember, the IIHF lost their pair and will let him play international hockey.

If he comes back he has to go through Nashville to play anywhere. Just so you all know before getting on this 'he won't be coming back to Nashville, I bet [insert northern US/Canadian team here] will sign him" bandwagon.

Also, the kid isn't exactly the most mature, coach-able hockey player in the world. He thought he was more talented than he really was, got pissy with the coaching staff when they called him on his lack of defensive responsibility, and was just an overall prima donna.

I say have him come back and score thirty goals for a team lacking in thirty goal scorers.

Sounds like another ex-Predator Koistinen.

I just don't see how he'll go back to Nashville though. They still hold his rights but I'd think if he did want to return the Predators would trade his rights to another team. It just got ugly over there a year or two ago and I don't see him playing under the same coaching staff.

I've watched Radulov play a lot over the last couple of years. He is good, but more like a poor mans Rick Nash.

He's a double world champion, but sure he's ineligible

Nothing to do with a "pair", there was simply nothing in their rules regarding transfers from non-IIHF leagues.

He'll come back when his contract is up in Russia.
