Oooh man what a corny title.

Hagman has been on fire lately! Hanson looked decent. Mayers was on every line, surprised he didn't end up in goalie gear.

To quote Pierre McGuire: "STAMKOS" x1000

Gunnarsson 3 assists. Kulemin was solid too, for the most part. 3 posts in the third period.

Hagman and Beauchemin had great games.
Gunnarsson, Kulemin and Stajan played well too.
White and Kaberle were terrible.

Something has to be done about Poni, Grabo, and Blake. Hopefully they get dealt soon, scratched, or waived in Blake's case.

Kessel 8/9 on faceoffs is probably worth mentioning too. Crucial win at the end of the game.

I've been looking out my window, watching out for four dudes on horseback.

Good win, now hopefully this team gets some confidence and quits being so nervous when they're up by 1. They lack so much confidence out there that you can just feel the tying goal coming, but a W does wonders for fixing that. If this team can get on a 5 game winning streak or so then they at least have a chance at the playoffs.

Gunnarsson and Beauchemin were both awesome tonight...

Kulemin played a very solid game. he usually does, but tonight his hard work was spotlight worthy, he looked very good out there.

Gunnarsson definitely has shown his skill level since coming up. Definitely can't send him down when Komisarek gets back.

So i'm happy with the win and all but I dont think anyone would question Blake getting demoted at this point.

I only saw the last 10 minutes of the 3rd period, but it looks like Kaberle had a poor game (16min TOI , -2). I'm also surprised Kessel was left off the score sheet, since he was buzzing late in the game. Some great plays between him and Stajan, and he nearly set up Kulemin on a goal. Also, we surprisingly gave up few shots in the dying minutes of the game.

I didn't get to see any of the goals, but it looks like Gunarsson and Hedman had a good game.

exactly, schenn needs to go down to the marlies....no sense keeping him up here if he won't play.

i was at first not happy seeing kulemin playing with checkers, but the results have not been too bad. A few great defensive moves too. Primeau's had some zip too lately.

What do people think about signing stemps to a much smaller contract and using him in a checking capacity? Im sure Lee would take more money elsewhere, but I think hes been great in that department. Current salary just isn't a fit for it though...

Beauchemin was excellent too. Good game all around for the leafs. It seems like this team's worst enemy are those 1 minute segments of brain diarrhea where we let in several goals fast to get behind fast or lose a well earned lead.

Very entertaining game too!

I liked the way the Leafs didn't just back up in a shell to protect a one goal lead.

Anyone else notice the mammoth minutes Beauchemin has been getting the past few games? 28:36 tonight. He's been playing around 28 for awhile now.

He's rounding into form. Playing much smarter, much simpler. Makes a world of difference when you don't try to do too much.

But Kaberle....ouch. He had a rough night. Some real bad defensive miscues.

Gunnarsson and Beauchemin were spot on tonight. Both made some mistakes, but no one can debate they were the #1 pairing.

White has been horrible the past couple games.
Schenn is okay, until the puck is in his posssession. Zero confidence in his game whenever he gets the puck.

Kulemin scored, and caused the turnover that started the Stajan goal, along with his usual top end defensive game. Get him with a puck distributor!!!

Stempniak works hard, but why would he try to stick handle through the Bolts in his own zone in front of his own net? He just doesn't have a lot of game sense to go alone with his skill set and stone hands.

Hagman on the trading block? Keep scoring, maybe he can land a #1 center.

Yep. Schenn has to go down at this point. I like this kid quite a bit and he'll be a very good shutdown defenseman for us in the future, but right now he needs time in the AHL. Everytime he touches the puck it seems like it's a turnover. He's always second guessing himself on the ice which is really hurting his overall game. Time with the Marlies will be good for him. Let him get his game back without any pressure.

If Burke gets a really good offer (2010 1st + great prospect) he better be traded. If he blocks a trade again I'll personally drive down to the ACC and whip his legs.

Kaberle is the kind of guy that grips the stick too hard when the spotlight is on him. He'll have a good stretch of games and then the spotlight is too bright for him and he starts making mistakes. The Toronto media isn't very good for him and it's really obvious in his performances. He has 6 assists in 11 games at home this season, but 18 points in 12 games while away from home. If I were the coaching staff for Toronto, Kaberle would be off limits to the press at all times.

It seems White gets too big for his britches, and thinks he's better than he is and gets into those flunks where he looks like the 2006 version.

Not bad, so in their last 15 games since the 0-7-1 start the leafs are 5-4-6 for 16 pts in 15 games.

In 23 games that would be a 25 pt pace, putting them tied for 18th

over a whole year it would be an 88pt pace.

Even taking into account the 0-7-1 start if the leafs played the same they would be at 79 pts which would be tied for 5-7 th......
