Then some discussion on Phoenix.

The NHL has been contacted by a number of potential ownership groups, but not all have followed through (so it's hard to say exactly how many there are). Says they've been talking with Reinsdorf's folks, but not willing to state (or doesn't know) that he'll be in the mix going forward.

The think that how attendance has gone is somewhat expected (after having almost no marketing and a lot of uncertainty).

Sounds like Glendale is more comfortable in negotiating with owner than league WRT redoing AMULA.

Talked about some of the long term contracts (those that are under investigation), and how they were negotiated, might be discussed as issue in next CBA negotiation.

Independent law firm hired by NHL is doing investigation of contracts, making their own report. Eventually decision will be made based on finding what comes next.
