more to come?
Fletcher said he had been talking with the Habs for a bit, and
not just about these players, although he obviously would not say who else

I will rather keep Bergeron.
Burns, like many canadian defensemen, is overated.

Fletcher said in an interview that Gainey tried to trade Sergei Kostitsyn to the Wild near the beginning of the season, but Fletcher refused.

I would think that Fletcher is kicking the tires on:
- Andrei Kostitsyn
- Sergei Kostitsyn
- Ryan O'Byrne
- Josh Gorges
- Max Pacioretty
I say all this because Fletcher is rebuilding this team after his failure to re-sign Gaborik and will even dangle Backstrom if need be (but we already have two good goalies).

Lol. Even considering Bergeron's two goals last night, if someone offered a big truck of pucks, I'd still take it.
JK.. but you get the point. Burns is like >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Bergeron....... and it's not even close.

By the sounds of it I think you're right. It looks as though Gainey wanted to trade S. Kosty but Fletcher took the safe route with aquiring the big body, less talented Guimauve.
By the way, if people think we've drafted poorly, take a look at the Wild's track record ugh!

O'Byrne Gorges and Pacioretty are going no where unless the return is rediculously in favor of Montreal.

Doesn't mean much to me, I'd guess it was Sergei Kostitsyn for Pouliot originally - as the linked article speculates.

That would be a good move
7.3 vs 5 cap hit
But!!
Havlat almost never plays so it clears up 5 millions
