Hossa:
6- 80 plus game seasons
3 70 plus season
Last time Hossa did not play 70+ was his rookie season of 60 games. This will be his first season ever not playing 60 plus games.
Gabs:
1- 80+ game season
3- 70+ seasons
2- 60+ seasons
2- under 50 seasons
Do you still think Gabs is the healthier player? Being more healthy for a 1/4 of one season does not make Gabs a more durable player.

Funny story, if Hossa plays tomorrow night as planned it will be the Hawks 23rd game. He can still play 60 games this year aka a Gaborik length season.
Even if Gaborik were healthy 100% of the time it would be pretty close considering Hossa's superiority defensively. The fact that Gaborik has been healthy roughly 76% of his career vs Hossa being healthy 94% of his career means it means I take Hossa without thinking twice.
Hossa is older, but if he plays 10 more years he projects to play 770 more games. At Gaborik's 76% rate he would have to play 12.5 more years to play 770 games. Amazingly they would both be 40 by that time.
