3. Also- a reminder- you do NOT get points for both WINNER and SHOOTOUT. If you pick Shootout for that night and your team wins but in regulation or over time you do not get credit for the win. It has to be either or. Just wanted to clarify that before people question me on this.
4. This game is not for money. Anyone can play and there are no prizes for this. It is just for fun.
5. And finally- We are adding a new category this year to the bet thread: Fights! Here is how it will go:
1. You pick two fights and only ONE period that it occurs in. If you guess the correct fighters in that fight you get 4 points. If they fight again you get 8 points and so on. If you guess the correct period (you only get to pick ONE period that they fight) they fight in you get 6 points. You can pick both of the fights to happen in one period- it doesn't matter so long as you pick only one period for them to fight in.
You CANNOT pick the same guy to go in both fights.

This is the Daily Game Bet thread....Make sure you pick 3 players per side to score no matter what score you predict. Here are the rules for those who want to play and aren't familiar with this little game.
Scoring Legend
Winner:20 pts - correct team- can only pick this OR the Shootout- you don't get extra points if they win in the shootout. Score:15 pts - correct score Total Goals for ea team:4 pts. for each goal scored by players selected If Shootout:25 pts - must predict to get these pts - only get SO pts, not winner too Shootout Scorer: Pick one player from each team who you think would score if the game goes to a shootout. 2 points if he shoots, 5 points if he scores - You must predict a SO, to get these pts, and you get pts for both if both happens Shots on Goal:30 pts. x 2 tms SHOG l 15 pts x 1 tm. SHOG Fights: 4 points per correct fight. If they fight two times it's worth 8 points and so on Period the fighters fought in: 6 points if you guess the correct period. You can only guess one period. Should you add other periods they will not count and I will only count the period that you listed first towards your score.
I will post the roster link to each team. You MUST pick three players from each team and ONLY three players- no more no less!
Deadline is 7:59 pm ET ~ Bets after this time will not be counted ~ This isn't negotiable. ~ No Editing your picks after game time!

Actually, he does get the 20 for picking the winning team.
Had Boston won in a shootout he would have received 25 points for picking a shootout, instead of 20 for the winning team. However he would not get both 25 + 20, for picking both. You only get one or the other.
