When will Cammy finally get the C ?

I mean he has been our best clutch performer this far. He's always the one talking to media after games saying the real things.

He really seems to be in a campaign for the C and to me he's the one who deserves it and corresponds the most to the type of player required (after Markov maybe).

So what's JM waiting for ?

I far prefer Cammy to Gionta for sure...

How Gionta could be a better captain than Cammy ? Sure he preaches example by going in the traffic despite his size, he's a good player who shows every night but still. Everyone who remembers Cammy's captaincy during WJC 2002 knows that he's the perfect fit.

Sure it's good to have a big C that steps out of the bunch. But you don't need a letter to know who that is on your team.

This is a brand new team, nothing wrong in giving them a year to know each other better.

I don't know, but I heard Gorges was captain in junior. Maybe he's the one who's best suited to get the C? Could someone confirm he was captain?

Anyway, I think Cammy is doing all he can to get the C, and I'd love for him to get it, but I think Gionta is the one who will get it.

I've actually heard that he is very vocal in the dressing room. In the off season there was rumblings of him being the next captain before we acquired the little three. However the rumblings weren't that loud tbh.

I was on the Gionta side, now i'm on the Cammy side. I think Gionta lose confidence in himself much quicker during a game while Cammy never gives up and he's the eternal positive.

Did you hear that JM mentioned there probably wont be a captain this year? Read it on RDS somewhere, sorry no link.

So basically if you combine your idea with the news from RDS, we arent getting Markov back this year. Say it aint so.
