Tim Conboy (CAR)
Carolina Hurricanes - The Hurricanes have placed forward/defenseman Tim Conboy on waivers.
Now teams, let's behave. Let's not have everybody go after him at once.

Yes, Conboy does play both D and F.
But he grades out at F and D respectively.

Of course the Canes would waive the only decently tough guy on their roster.
ps Paul Maurice is an idiot.

He sure does lose lots of fights for a tough guy.

Random tidbit: I believe Conboy was the only guy on the Canes roster that played with a wood stick. And he had an absolutely massive ball of tape on the handle - probably a whole roll, minimum - looked like a goalie stick.
Granted, this was right after he was called up last February, and he had only played 4 or 5 games, so he may have upgraded his stick at some point since then.
Totally random, useless information, I know.

I'm considering paper bags for Sunday's game.
