FLEMING MACKELL in HALL OF FAME:

With all this talk of Hall Of Fame induction{s}, Allow me to propose 3 August, Storied and Long Serving former Stars of the Boston Bruins who have been omitted by the Selection commitee: The first being Flem Mackell, a fierce checking, side of the net scoring specialist who, among many other accomplishments, was voted on the first All Star team in 1952-53 & dominated all scorers during the Epic 1957-58 playoffs. That this great Bruins star is not in the Hall is bad enough, but that Mr. Mackell is not featured in the Bruins history dvd is a downright elementary mistake!.... Thank You

Omitted Bruins:

BackBringCam: Shall post again in a few days...I hope & wish to initiate a running thread among Veteran & Younger Bruins Fans, in order To rectify a gaping void in the Hockey Hall Of Fame & the History of our Boston Bruins. The fact that these salient Boston Stars are not even mentioned in the Bruins History is a crime!!!!

It’s always great to read about somewhat forgotten stars. My guess is Axxellien nominates Doug Mohns and Don McKenney.

At least he's not nominating Bobby Perrault or Gary Doak.

If he hasn't been nominated thus far, it isn't going to happen. Middleton should go in before Mackell....and even that will likely never happen.
