Now, I'm not real familiar with Bourque, but he appears to have speed, physicallity and is a good two way player.
My questions are:
1) Do you think that this player for real, or is he having once in a lifetime season?
2) How many points do you think he'll finish the season off with?
3) Do you think that he'll make it to Free Agency
4) If he makes it to Free Agency, how big of a contract would you offer him?
Thanks guys,
Cheers.

1) At 27 it's odd for a player to "breakout" like this, but he also had a good season last year so it's not a one year thing. He was on pace for something like 60 points last year and had only 1 pp point (this year in comparison he already has 4).
2) I'd love for him to keep up his PPG pace but I don't see it happening with Dawes as his linemate (no offense to Dawes who's also looking good this season, but for a waiver wire pick up let's just say he's no Rich Peverley). I would say, barring injuries, (and knocking on wood) 65 is a good projection. Maybe 70 if his second line stops producing and he's given top line duties and first pp time as we've seen how time with Iginla can get you a career year.
3) No, this is Sutter's type of player. Take out his goals and assists and he's still the Flames best forward this season (Iginla is making a case the last 3 games) but his effort is second to none and he's very responsibly on defense. Despite averaging 2 minutes on the PK he's only been on the ice for 2 PPGA's and has a shortie. His 0 +/- misleading as both his line mates are -4.
4) 3.25M but short term or 2.75M and longer, but I could see him getting much higher (remember Finger got 3.5M during UFA frenzy). However, I think Sutter will get him up for less. He's a good ol' Albertan kid so let's hope he takes the discount.
